Mini rugby & funskillz training starts in May at Station Road, keep checking the website for updates.
Training for players starts 11:00am
RUGBY LEAGUE FESTIVALS will run through out the year and are all full-contact.
Fancy Playing?
New players are always welcome, it doesn't matter if you're an experienced player or completely new to the game, come along and give it a try!
Feel free to turn up at a training session but it is better to contact us first. For senior sessions you must be aged 16 years or over. For junior and mini sessions we ask that players arrive fully kitted up and ready to go, so that we can get started quickly.
How do I register my child?
Contact our Head Coach who will assist you with the registration process. You will need to supply the following items for us to be able to formally register your child with The Rugby Football League. This ensures that they are fully covered by our insurance and can play in matches.
Please supply
2 x passport photos of your child
1 x Photo copy of the child's birth certificate
1 x Completed RFL player form and medical questionnaire signed by the parent/guardian (form supplied by coach)
What does it cost for my child to join?
The club charges an annual membership fee for each age group which covers all training and matches. There are no additional fees or weekly subs to pay after the initial membership registration fee.
Current Membership Fees
Can my child play in another age group?
Under 16s - To play U16s you must be in Years 10 or 11 at school.
Under 14s - To play U14s you must be in Years 8 or 9 at school.
Under 13s - To play U13s you must be in Years 8 or 7 at school.
Under 12s - To play U12s you must be in Years 7 or 6 at school.
Under 11s - To play U11s you must be in Years 6 or 5 at school.
Under 9s - To play U9s you must be in Years 3 or 4 at school.
Under 7s - To play U7s you must be in Year 2
How are the games structured?
Junior and Mini games are 13-a-side, a match-day squad size is 20 players, with unlimited roll-on-roll-off substitutions known as interchanges. Games are usually split into 4 x 15 minute periods to allow for adequate water breaks (given that we play in summer).
Kick-off times can vary depending on how far away the game is or how far the opposition will have had to travel to get to our ground. We play in the London League so distances can fluctuate.
Do you have safeguarding policies or any guidance on standards of practice?
Yes, you will find all of our safeguarding policies available to print off from the 'Club Info' section listed under the Documents tab. We endeavour to make the club as safe an environment as possible and we ask that you do your bit towards that by reading the documents available and following their advice.
